Chicken eggs were recently placed in an incubator in my classroom. After 21 LONG days, we’ve had 8 chicks hatch in the last 24 hours. My classroom was quite popular with visitors yesterday & today. I’ll keep the chicks at school next week & then take them to The Keeling Farm in Kingman over spring break. 🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥
Happy Leap Year! When the current 5th graders were in 1st grade they went to visit the 5th grade on February 29, 2016. The 5th graders told them about life as a 5th grader. The first graders then wrote letters to their future self. Fast forward 4 years & they were able to read their letters from 1st grade. They then met with the current 1st grade class to share their classroom & life as a 5th grader. The first graders wrote letters to their future selves & will open the letters on February 29, 2024!
