The final Cross Country meet for the middle school is in the books: The middle school boys are NEKL champions!! 🙌 The all-league guys were Tucker Edmonds - 2nd place and Mathias Domann - 6th place. The middle school girls were runner-up as a team, with Rowan Robey - 4th place, and Lucy Noll - 6th place, being all-league members. Both teams received the 1st and 2nd place medals! Congratulations!!!
The fall play, "Drinking Habits", will now be on Saturday, December at 7 pm, and Sunday, December 10th at 3:00 P.M.

On September 25th, Amanda Singer and Corie Bell were awarded with a Certificate of Recognition for showing #JCNExcellence! Amanda and Corie stepped up when we were short on subs and worked as a team to make sure all classes were covered with quality instruction! They were also given a pack of "Extra" gum to show them that I am EXTRA grateful for them! Thank you, ladies! Your #JCNExcellence is so greatly appreciated!

Congratulations to our Middle School volleyball team for an outstanding , undefeated season. The team finished with a 19-0 record. The team won the NEKL tournament yesterday. They have won the NEKL two years in a row.
Thank you to the cheerleaders and pep club for bringing a lot of energy and excitement to the gym.
Mr. Schneider’s middle school students engaged kindergarten students in Preamble presentations. Well done!
EMS students were bussed to Winchester for the High School homecoming parade. They gathered a lot of candy, saw friends and family walking in the parade and saw a fellow kindergarten friend riding in the fire truck. Another exciting event at JCN!

Washburn University hosted a Theatre Day in which students could come and learn different aspects of theatre. Our students learned everything from stage management to improv. We ended our day by watching Gruesome Playground Injuries by Rajiv Joseph. Overall, it was a great day, and our students learned a lot!
