We love putting puzzles together here at the EMS library. Unfortunately a lot of our puzzles are "hand-me-downs" and are missing pieces. If you have any 50, 75, or 100 piece puzzles without missing pieces we will take your donations! Or if you would like to donate a new puzzle that would be awesome too.

We are always proud of our Chargers!

Last week during community cleanup three high school students came to the EMS library. We did some redecorating, cleaning, and some rearranging. What is the empty spot for you ask? That will be where our fun seating arrangement will be for the older students. Thank you to Josh and his team for help in the rearranging!

The address for the Sub-State Football Game in Pittsburg is: Hutchinson Field, 1301 N. Broadway, Pittsburg, KS 66762. It is beside the Pittsburg Middle School on the main road through downtown Pittsburg. We are ready for some JCN Football. GO CHARGERS

We are getting ready for a Thanksgiving feast. The JCN kitchen is prepping for Tuesday's incredible lunch. Way to go Theresa!!!!!

The Community Cleanup Day was a success! Students raked plenty of leaves, washed some windows, and moved around supplies for the people of Winchester and Nortonville.

These kinder explorers had fun designing their attire, including vests, binoculars, hats and magnifying glasses, before taking their daily lessons to the outdoor classroom. They collected items to add and subtract, build bugs and habitats with. Students listened to read a-loud stories, sequenced and retold stories, read their leveled readers and completed phonemic awareness and phonics lessons. Oh, the exciting life of kindergartners.
Thank you Michael Bertels, senior project of 2017 the park benches that convert into tables are wonderful for snack time and learning. Thank you for all who take care of the space. Thank you Mike, who retrieved tools and repaired one of the benches, within the hour of receiving the report.
