Jeff North Creations our newly established spirit store is set up by the office at the tournament to sell JCN Gear. The ABD students have been working hard to create gear for our fans! We hope you can enjoy what they have put together.
Girls basketball will play at 4:30pm come out and cheer them on in the championship game!
USD 339 Board of Education will convene a Special Board Meeting on January 31, 2024. The meeting will start at 5:30 PM. The work session will discuss the facilities and bond survey. This is an open meeting, and the public is welcome to attend.

Some kindergarten fun in the library today. We read What Snowmen do at Night then worked some puzzles, read in the tent, and colored some snowmen pages.
Mysterious Mystery books were on display in the high school library. The books were wrapped until they were checked out. We had our mystery book reveal party today complete with snacks. We have come to the conclusion that Karen McManus and Maureen Johnson are our favorite thriller/mystery authors.
The Junior class Valentine's Day fundraiser had started. Order forms went home last week in the elementary and tonight at the middle school game forms will be available at the gate. We also sent forms home with 6th-8th grades today and will have form at the gate tomorrow during the high school game.
Forms are due by Wednesday February 7th .
Thank you for supporting the Junior class all proceeds go towards prom.

Yesterday the third grade classes finally made it to library class. We read The Mitten by Jan Brett and made a project.
Junior class parents-if you can donate a couple bags of Valentine's Day candy for the fundraiser we would appreciate it. We need the candy by Wednesday February 7th. Thank you!

Due to hazardous road conditions, Jefferson County North will be closed on Tuesday, January 23rd.
Last week, the Anatomy class at the high school had a guest speaker. Jamie Tennyson (formerly Navinskey) came in to give a presentation and answer questions about her job as a Pathology Assistant in Iowa. The students learned a lot about what this job entails, as well as what colleges offer this program. It was a very informative presentation, with the students being very respectful and asking great questions.
The Middle School Boys will play today (January 22) in McLouth beginning at 4:30 in the gold gym. Order of games are B, C, A.
Congratulations to seniors Carson McAfee and Calvin Manville for making the Oskaloosa Boys Invitational All-tournament team.
