To help students explore their options and plan for the future, all JCN sophomores and juniors will be visiting HCCTC campuses on April 7th. It’s going to be a great day to explore HCC's options.

Parker Burk, Curry Lackey, and Rowan Robey were chosen to go to the Kansas State Capital on March 18th to be pages for State Representative, Ron Ellis. The students had a great time! Mr. Ellis was very impressed with the knowledge the students displayed! #JCNExcellence

Mrs. Deviney's 1st grade recently wrote their numbers to 500. These four students went above & beyond by writing their numbers to 1000!!!! Great job Dally, Brynlee, Caroline & Bentley! 👏🏼
We now have reading buddies in the library for students to read aloud to. Reading aloud to yourself enhances focus, boosts vocabulary, improves reading comprehension, and strengthens memory.
The second graders were on the library bright and early this morning! We read Edwina: The Dinosaur Who Didn't Know She was Extinct and talked about the difference between fiction and nonfiction books. After the story the kids worked puzzles, colored and read their library books.
