A December to Remember!

We will perform at the JCN High School's auditorium at 6:30 pm on December 3rd. Admission is FREE! Please come and support our young thespians.

5th grade had a creative, exciting, and informative time learning about and even coming up with their own Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons! When the balloons were finished each class got to have their own parade to show off all their hard work designing and constructing their balloons. Happy Thanksgiving from 5th grade!

BOOK FAIR INFORMATION
Students will tour the book fair on Friday December 6th. They may bring money with them to make purchases that day, or use ewallets that have been set up beforehand. The book fair will remain open until 4:30 for people to come in and shop after school that day. The book fair will also be open on Saturday 12/7 during the Holiday Open House. HS Art classes took a trip to the Nelson Atkins Art Museum in Kansas City yesterday to see the temporary exhibit of Hokusai. They learned about Japanese culture and how Hokusai inspired many artists around the world while also being able to view an original print of the famous "Great Wave of Kanagawa".











On behalf of USD339, we thank everyone who participated in the November bond election. While the outcome was not what we had hoped for, we are deeply grateful for the community’s engagement, thoughtful conversations, and ongoing support for our schools. We will continue the conversation in the future to provide the best facilities, security, and future for JCN students and staff.

One more week for the 2nd Grade Food Drive! Please bring non-perishable food items to the EMS by Friday, November 22nd. We would love to fill this space! All items will be donated to the Pantry of Hope to help with holiday meals.

Time Change: High School will dismiss at 12:30pm.
The EMS will dismiss at 1pm.


The JCNEMS Christmas music concert has been moved to December 18th at 6pm.


Community Clean Up Day tomorrow for the JCN HS. We will be in the cities of Winchester and Nortonville cleaning yards and helping our communities. Dress warm for the morning and bring your rakes and gloves for a great and a fun day of giving. Thanks for supporting giving back
