The Fifth Grade Lunch Bunch Book Clubbers finished their book Willodeen yesterday. Today we ate lunch together and had brownies for dessert.

This week is National 4-H week. Elementary and middle school students brought in some of their projects to display in the library. It's great to see our students excel in different areas.

Taking advantage of the beautiful sunshine, the 6th grade class moved their math review outdoors. Students enjoyed the nice weather as they found their own quiet workspace on the playground to focus and complete their assignments.

‼️‼️ CHANGE IN START TIME - Today's NEK Cross Country Meet at Jackson Heights will BEGIN AT 3:30, instead of 4:00, as previously planned. Girls will run at 3:30, followed by boys.
Congratulations to the MS volleyball team for placing 2nd in the NEKL tournament today. They lost to Troy in a hard fought match. The team also finished 3rd place in the regular season.

Beautiful weather made for a great opportunity to take class outside! Sixth graders spent the time annotating, collaborating, and reading an excerpt from What's So Funny, Mr. Scieszka?—all while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

Come out & support our JCNMS Cross Country team as they compete in the NEK League Cross Country Meet. Go Chargers! 💚

The first graders listened to The Leaf Thief by Alice Hemming then made squirrels. The kids came up with some very clever names for their squirrels such as Bo Jackson the Squirrel 🤣
