If you missed it the first time, here is your chance to see it again! Through a special invitation from the Prioress and the Sisters of Mount St. Scholastica, the JCN Theatre Department has been asked to perform Drinking Habits by Tom Smith for them! This is such an honor for our students to be able to do! So, if you would like to attend this final performance--there are 18 tickets for sale! Each ticket is $10 and all proceeds will be donated to the Mount St. Scholastica Monestary. The performance starts at 1:30 at Dooley Center in Atchison on January 14th, 2024.
If you want to reserve your tickets--please contact Paige Bernick at pbernick@usd339.net. Remember tickets are limited! You can pay for your tickets when you pick them up at the front office of the high school. First come, first serve.

HS Business Students' really out did themselves with our Food Truck project! They all did very well!

Check our our doors. HS seminars had fun decorating doors for Christmas. It's hard to pick a favorite. JCN is spreading Christmas cheer.
The boys basketball game is starting with JV boys - 5 pm followed by Varsity. PR had to cancel the C game.
Help support the JCN Baseball team. They are selling beautiful Charger blankets. See the images for pictures and instructions.

On Tuesday, January 2nd the junior class will be running the concession stand for the basketball games. We have one parent volunteer and three students for the first shift. We need help second shift 6:15-8:00. If you can help please email Ms. Courtney at jcourtney@usd339.net
We also need workers in February on the 26th and 27th for sub-state b-ball.
Drinking Habits by Tom Smith went so well this weekend. Thank you to everyone who joined in on our show! A special thank you to the four Benedictine Nuns who came to join us on Sunday! We hope we made you smile!
Auditions for the next show, Almost, Maine, will be announced sometime after the new year.

The high school is hosting a food drive for the Pantry of Hope! Being this can help supply the pantry with food for several weeks, we like to make it a competition amongst the grades to bring in the most food, so make sure to send in any donations with your student. Anything helps!
The food drive will end on Tuesday, December 12th.
Wow! The EMS library received lots of donated puzzles. Thank you so much the kids are super excited. Did you know that working jigsaw puzzles improve problem-solving skills, and improve focus and attention span? They make great Christmas gifts too!
