Friday was the end of primary wing Read Across America week. We started with Dr. Kempf reading "Green Eggs and Ham" to Pre-K through 2nd grade students. Students returned to their classrooms to eat green eggs and ham, followed with classroom rotations full of reading and activities. Students ended the day with Dr. Meier reading "The Cat and the Hat", followed with a yummy "Thing 1 and Thing 2" snack.

March is Theatre in Our Schools Month. This is a time to celebrate theatre and the arts in education. Fact: According to 2012 survey done on theatre education in high schools by Utah State University, "95% of school administrators believe that theatre experiences improve students' overall academic skills." Thanks to our administration for supporting the arts and keeping theatre, and other arts programs, in our school.
