Kindergarten Roundup had a great turn out with 24 students coming through the circus themed hallways at JCNEMS. Dr. Miere filled the halls with the aroma of freshly popped popcorn as students stopped to get a photo shoot at the Big Top. Then students headed down the to the kindergarten classrooms where they danced to the music of a scarf dance, following simple directions. They fished for their names and explored some sensory bins. They had a popcorn craft and a circus sticker craft, circus activities, went to recess, read some kindergarten books, and took a bus ride around the town. Finally, they returned for a snack of popcorn and juice before meeting up with parents. It took the whole team to make this event a success. Thanks goes out to the admin., secretaries, preschool and kindergarten teachers and paras, speech pathologist, nurse, cooks and custodians. We have a great team here at JCN.
